Janelle joined Forteris in 2025 after over a decade in the education field. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Janelle Fry brings a deep passion for education and a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Science in Special Education from Fordham University and has taught in a wide range of educational settings—from 7th grade math classrooms in Lamesa, Mesquite, and Plano, Texas, to high school special education in New York City.
Janelle’s years in the classroom have equipped her with strong communication skills, patience, adaptability, and an innate ability to build trust—qualities that are now guiding her as she steps into a new professional chapter. While this next role marks a departure from traditional education, she’s excited to bring her experience and heart for people into a fresh environment. Even more, Janelle is thrilled to be working alongside her husband and to have more precious time with their daughter.
Janelle recently completed the prestigious Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP) program at the College for Financial Planning, equipping her with the essential financial knowledge to expertly support our firm and clients.
